Photoshop Doodle

These past few days I've been playing around a lot more in Photoshop with my tablet. Here's a quick sketch I made tonight! It's been a total challenge learning how to draw digitally but I feel like I am slowly starting to grasp it.

Animating Red

Here is a very very very rough pencil test for my animated short I'm working on right now! There will eventually be a dog in this shot once I get around to animating him, dogs are seriously hard to animate!! So many legs, tail swishes and everything else in-between. Sheesh!

Here's What I'm Working On!

Here is a sneak peak of my new project for my 3D Design class! I am creating a 1950's Super Heroine, and have begun modeling her weapon! It is no where near finished, but I think I am starting to get the right shape and idea for it! Let me know what you think! :)

Here are also some concept sketches for my Super Heroine herself. I am still working out her design, and putting all the finishing details into her background story. My thinking is that her beehive hair holds special powers of it's own, which is also the reason her weapon above looks a little like a hair dryer! Any suggestions for what powers her hair holds are welcomed!

Young Goodman Brown

Here is my final painting for my digital illustration class. It was based off of the short story, Young Goodman Brown. I had hoped to capture the exact moment when Goodman Brown learns that his wife Faith is not as faithful as he thought.

My 1st Digital Painting

Our assignment was to color in a line drawing of the image below, and to try and convey some feeling or emotion with it. I chose to go for a dark, creepy, and fearful feeling. 

Midnight Summer Dream Project

This is a scene I created that was inspired by the text below. 

"...I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,

Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,

Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,

With sweet musk-roses, and with eglantine;

There sleeps Titania sometime of the night,

Lull'd in these flowers with dances and delight;

And there the snake throws her enamell'd skin,

Weed wide enough to wrap a fairy in;..."

Ent Crossing

For our first big assignment in my Illustration class we needed to create a Utility Sign that you might find within the world of the "Lord of the Rings." I instantly wanted to do something involving Ent's as they were my favorite part of the trilogy!

Silhoutte

This is a homework assignment I had where I had to create a silhouette from a profile picture of mine. I really like how it turned out!

Vulnerable

For a quick class assignment our Professor asked us to create an abstract image that depicted a single word. My word was "vulnerable."
